  • Up to 3 hours of joint dispute resolution
  • Up to 6 hours of joint dispute resolution if an interpreter is required (conditions apply).

We may charge fees after this depending on your circumstances – see below.

Services that incur a Fee:

If more than 3 hours of dispute resolution is deemed necessary, a fee of $50.00 is charged per session, per person.  Child consultations also incur a similar fee of $50.00. Fees are payable at the time of receiving the service.  We accept payment by cheque or cash only.

Waived Fees:

You will not have to pay a fee, if:

  • You have been granted legal aid for the parenting issue being dealt with at the Centre.
  • You are the holder of :
  • a health care card,

  • You are an inmate of a prison or otherwise lawfully detained in a public institution.
  • You are a child under the age of 18 years.
  • You are in receipt of a youth allowance, an Austudy payment or ABSTUDY benefits, or

Assistance for accessing services will be offered where necessary ie: free child care at occasional child care centres.
No person will be disadvantaged or excluded from using the Wodonga Family Relationship Centre because of an inability to pay.  All efforts will be made to provide prospective clients with alternative service options where necessary.
Prior to attending the joint dispute resolution sessions we will discuss fees with you and whether you are likely to need more than three hours.  If so, you can decide whether to start sessions here, or be referred to another service with a different fees policy.
